Florence is part of a new series of paintings about strong, colourful women. In this series, I work with feminine portraits in which personality, strength, and joy of life are expressed through intense colours, decorative patterns, and a simple yet distinctive visual language.

Florence meets the viewer with a calm and confident gaze. Her turquoise hair, the small flowers, and the warm pink, golden, and dark tones create a vibrant world around her. The organic patterns and floral details emphasise her femininity, while her direct gaze gives her a clear sense of strength and independence.

To me, Florence represents a woman who dares to be visible and to stand proudly in who she is. She is both gentle and strong, poetic and powerful. The work is a tribute to individuality, feminine energy, and the courage to fill the world with colour.
